The Shared Services Aged Accounts Receivable and Debt Recovery program provides portfolio management of aged A/R and the collection process for State of Alaska executive branches and governmental entities. Shared Services staff specialize in the complex administrative and legal requirements of aged accounts receivable, allowing other state departments and governmental entities more freedom to focus on their core missions.

 

Enterprise-wide management of aged accounts receivable and debt recovery practices through SSoA provides value to the State of Alaska in a variety of ways, including:

Portfolio Management:SSoA identifies and reviews aged accounts receivable inventories, onboards accounts to private collections agencies, provides analysis and reporting, disburses recovered debt, and provides continuous customer account support through the entire debt recovery process.
